Nigeria becomes the latest territory to come on down
FremantleMedia International (FMI) and Genesis Studios have today announced a partnership to bring a local version of the classic game show format, The Price is Right to Nigeria. The deal will see Genesis Studios produce three series of the FremantleMedia format, taking the total number of adaptations of the iconic, witty and fast paced format to an incredible 41 versions worldwide.

The legendary US version is now into its 44th season and is still attracting huge audiences, just last year each episode averaged 5.4 million viewers per episode, making it the number one daytime show on CBS”

The US version of The Price is Right is the most successful gameshow in television history. The format features contestants as they are invited to “come on down”, take to the stage and use their shopping knowledge in a bid to guess the correct price of everyday objects. With a charismatic host, an electric atmosphere, crazy games and life changing prizes up for grabs, The Price is Right is a game of non-stop excitement.
